Whether your academic activities this fall are personal or online, we`re here for you. You can list your preferences on your housing application, and we will do our best to place you in the unit that meets these requirements. All applications are processed on the basis of First-come, First-served and are accepted in due form on the basis of the date on which your lease was entered into. If you have been accepted and have submitted your $100 deposit, you can sign up for on-campus accommodation and enter into your housing contract. Explore nine different residences or themes for all first-year students. These communities are developed around academics (for example. B economics, education, global ties, health professionals, honours and science), student support services and campus engagement and interests (. B for example, Greek life, Marshall Maniacs). You`ll connect with other people who share your interests! For those who need accommodation for Jan. 2021 to May 2021 for student accommodation prices, visit our Agriculture page.

Here is a short list of your 9 options for dorms (or dorms, as they used to be called!). Take a look at these options – and compare – to make your choice of apartment at the university. All residents require a bond to enter into the guarantee agreement. A resident may act as a clean guarantor if he may have been having, as stated in the lease, that he has an income greater than three times the rental rate. The typical rental period is about 11.5 months of occupancy, which coincides with the academic calendar of the university. A total amount of rent is charged to the occupier for the contractually agreed occupancy period. The lease reflects the total amount of rent, which is generally divided into 12 equal instalments, due from August 1 to July 1. These payments are not monthly rent and are not proportional. Life on campus offers you a unique life and learning experience.

All newcomers and Sophomores under the age of 21 must live on campus to ensure you get the best start for your Marshall experience. All first-year students benefit from unique housing in universities: they are part of a community of learning or living theme to be with other students who share your academic and campus interests. The guarantor must sign the guarantee agreement. If the resident is not of age to execute a contract, the surety is required to sign both the rental agreement and the guarantee contract. If you are looking at the options for the dormitory, you can also compare the basic room fees to determine the cost of the accommodation. All students living on campus must also purchase a diet. Check here for the different options in which you can choose your menu. You can also check here the accommodation and catering rates per semester for the current study year.

Payments are due on the 1st of each month by payment plan outlined in the lease. All first-year students have been ordered to register to complete an online residential application.
